Faith is like a flame ignited within the heart that feeds on the remembrance of God.
It is the source of light that allows us to see the path in a world of darkness.
That light allows us to avoid danger and follow a path that leads to God’s warm embrace.
The Flame can grow or shrink by various external factors.
It can become weakened by various trials and tribulations,
Or if we become heedless distracted by the pleasures of this world.
It can become strengthened by gatherings of remembrance of The Divine,
Or if we increase in doing good solely for God’s sake.
It can be passed from one heart to another,
by the permission of God, from any sincere soul in search of Him,
Without diminishing the flame of the giver,
for the source of the flame is Divine guidance, which is limitless.
